Galaxstratten Mono

In this style, I'm combining photos, cartoons and textures. Some of them are social commentary, some are not.

I was looking through the artworks for the Crazy for Cult 2 show when I saw a sculpture by Colin Christian. It was based on the cult movie Galaxina featuring Dorothy Stratten. Although I've kept up with a lot of cult movies, I haven't seen that one. I googled the name and found some cool images... and, since it came out in 1980, I had to pair the image up with the Galaxian video game.

I originally created this in color. But, after I changed one layer, I got this monochromatic effect. I kind of liked it, so I kept it.
